About Us

FedFam4Life is intent on securing the release of all women and girls from the prison industrial complex.

FedFam4Life was co-founded by Tray Johns and Foxxy Mason, both previously incarcerated African American, Gay Veteran women. The married couple decided to build up an organization (FedFam4Life) in order to strive for social justice in the female community.

Tray Johns was arrested for possession of drugs worth less than $500. During the eight years, seven months, and nineteen days in federal prison, Johns honed her skills as a “jailhouse lawyer” and has projected her determination and fearlessness for social justice since her release.

Johns is now the South Florida Criminal Justice Organizer and is striving to bring the situation of incarcerated women to light amongst the Criminal Justice Reform.

Foxxy Mason is leading the #healingus initiative which utilizes the power of healing circles in order to create a safe and assuring environment for women in need of relief. These healing circles were created to be the foreground that holds the community together in the midst of healing.
